Durty Nellys Irish Hostel and bar,Amsterdam offers clean and comfortable accommodation right in the middle of the Coolest city on the Planet.We have a total of 60 beds catering for individuals through to large groups. All accommodations are non smoking!

Nellys will preauthorise[meaning your credit card provider confirms that your card has enough funds to cover 1st night cost in even of no show/late cancellation] all credit cards used for bookings .Any no shows or cancellations/alterations that don't adhere to Nellys booking conditions will be charged as stated below.Any bookings not preauthorised will be cancelled.Nellys accepts no resposibility for lost booking deposit in this event.Nellys will send you an email request for card information.Once you have checked in we will cancel preauthorisation.****
For our guests safety and security Nellys has installed a new scan key entrance system for all dorms. To minimise costs and wastage all dormitory residents are required to pay a 10 euro security deposit[returned on departure]for which they will receive a dorm entrance key and an individual locker key. Unfortunately to guarantee return of keys a deposit system is required.

Thank you for choosing Durty Nellys Inn for your Amsterdam visit. In order to ensure that you have an enjoyable and problem free stay we ask you to follow these rules.
1/No aggressive or anti social behavior.
2/Our hostel is for sleep not partying, we have a bar downstairs for your enjoyment.
3/Please be considerate of our other guests. Place all rubbish in bins.
4/The use of any drugs,[weed,hash, hallucients, mushrooms,cocaine, space cake etc] is strictly forbidden. . Nellys is totally non smoking. The bar and hostel are totally drug free.
5/No glasses or bottles are allowed upstairs. This is a safety rule to prevent injury from broken glass.
6/No walking round naked in hostel or bar.
7/Please keep all food in lockers not on floor to avoid mice.
7/All directions given by Nellys staff must be followed.
Amsterdam is a great city and we’re sure you’ll have a great time here but please make sure that you follow these rules as we will check out anyone that doesn’t follow them and that we will involve the police if necessary. You are 3 blocks from dam square, and 3 blocks from the coffe shops, sex shops and the windows. It has a pub crawl that leaves from the bar of the hostel every night, but it wasnt very good. The rooms are small, but its Amsterdam, and its really clean. This is my second time in this city and in this hostel. Next time though, a hostel a little bit more far from the red light district |

We travelled as 2 couples and we booked a 4bed private ensuite. The room was quite small but ok for a short stay. Plenty of hot water and decent shower. Would take my own pillowcase next time... bedding could have been cleaner but this was the only quarm.
Breakfast is contiental, white or brown bread, cheese, ham, hard boiled eggs and jam. Plenty of tea and coffee. One toaster for everyone to use.
Staff friendly.
We would defo stay again. |

Security is also good with swipe entry to the rooms and lockers in the dorm. Bad points are (as far as my 4-bed dorm went): lack of wall sockets, no hooks in shower room, no wash basin in toilets, no common room other than the bar downstairs and it's kinda noisy at night if in front dorm (but that's Amsterdam) |
